Luxman Lux M501D LTD. ED CLASS A AMPLIFIER

Lux Corporation was founded in Japan on June 1925, by T. Hayakawa & his brother K. Yoshikawa.

In 2000 Lux Corp became Luxman Corporation when it reverted back into private Japanese ownership. Under the new management, they invested heavily in R&D for their high-end 80th Anniversary Commemoration models which were released in 2005 in order to reposition Luxman globally once again as a luxury, high-end audio brand.

Up for sale is this rare Lux M501D solid state amplifier .
This amplifier is rated at 25 watts per channel in pure Class A or can be switched over to Class AB at 100 watts per channel. It can also be switched to mono operation. Has left and right volume controls so it can be hooked up to a CD player without the use of a preamplifier. It can also be used for biamping as the mids and highs are superb.

This particular unit was a limited edition for Honk Kong audiophiles signed by the President of Lux H. Hayakawa. ( see brass plate) and available only in Japan and not commercially sold in the US.

It is in excellent cosmetic and operational condition.
