Marantz 250 Power Amplifier circa 1971
The pinnacle that captured the 70’s sound. This has been restored to have its excellent
imaging and wonderful proportion
dynamics - smooth. An amplifier to “keep
until you die.” Electronics have been
tested and replaced as needed by Ann Arbor’s Muse Audio Technologies w/high
quality audio parts: all new capacitors, new right channel output
transistors matched to even out the loads for a longer life, bias and DC offset
adjusted, output relay cleaned and burnished and the differential amplifiers
have been replaced. The machine is at
least spec if not better. Power is just
waiting to go to work. A review I once
read called the 250 the “velvet monster.”
Return policy is 7 days (Audiogon) and I am including a Muse Audio service
warranty for 3 (three) weeks from date of purchase. Parts and labor incl.
