Mark Levinson No 38 - Excellent & Babied

PLEASE NOTE: I AM OUT OF TOWN AND WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SHIP OUT UNTIL SATURDAY, JULY 1st Selling my Levinson No 38 Preamp. It's in excellent condition with no noticeable blemishes except for a very tiny rub mark on the volume knob (which is how I acquired it from the 1st owner). There are no scratches anywhere to speak of other than a possible hairline blemish that is impossible to see unless seen through a magnifying glass (see the photos!). It's becoming harder and harder to find any Levinson gear of this era in this kind of condition. It does not include a remote. I purchased it without a remote but never needed one as I used it primarily as a switcher for my multiple reel to reels and my DAC has a remote volume control. Again, this is how I acquired it and it was never an issue for me. If you need a No 38 with an original remote, this preamp is NOT for you! It came from a non-smoking home and my home is also non-smoking with no kids or pets. It does not include the original box/packing or the original owner's manual but it does include the correct right angle power cord. All functions work without issue and it sounds simply amazing. The No 38 is quite scarce on the used market in this condition and when one does come up they typically sell quickly so do not hesitate if you've been pining for one. Considering how much costlier the No 38S and 380S is, the No 38 is a no brainer bargain for a Levinson preamp of this caliber.
