Meridian 568.2MM which is the unicorn of the 568 series and is running the final beta firmware which has the upgraded digital processing.
Personally I have been using this in a 2 channel arrangement where it is infinitely flexible. The DAC sounds superb, and will hold its own above the price point listed here. This also has internal digital X/O, and will support stereo subwoofers in a 2.2 config. It can do variable analog out, variable digital out, fixed digital out and fixed analog out. The analog to digital converter is phenomenal and can covert even upper tier vinyl rigs to a digital stream transparently. This also provides advanced digital buffering and filtering and will upsample to 24 bit so even if it is just passing through a digital signal it will reduce jitter and create an improvement.
This being an MM, it has the hi-res digital MHR input and will support HDMI switching with a Meridian 421 or 621. This will also support the Bluray codecs and DCD/A from a Meridian player. The 568.2MM is very difficult to find, and represents incredible value for the right buyer. This unit is clean, and will be boxed for safe arrival. The manual can be downloaded online.
Basic configuration can be done on the front panel display. If you want to really dive under the hood than you need to configure it using Meridian software and a serial adapter. I don't own this, but have access to it, and am more than willing to walk a buyer through the configuration as needed. All the software runs on Win10 just fine if you want to do this on your own.
