| Is this preamp a passive or active buffer? It seems to have a power in connector. Thanks Hi, it is 100% Passive, the power input is simply for an AC adaptor to power a stepper motor on the volume control for remote volume control convenience. That is all this input does and can be used with or without as preferred. No active power circuitry for the pure audio signal of course. Passive done perfectly. |
