Odyssey Stratos Extreme Monoblock Pair in Nice Shape w/ $1488 Reserve

We have all the current top brands on display in our huge showroom. For Sale: One pair of Odyssey Stratos Mono Extreme Monoblock power amplifiers, used, in very nice condition and tested. I was not even familiar with this brand of amplifiers before this, but I have been told that these are wonderful sounding and have a bit of a cult following. Each amplifier outputs a minimum of 200 Watts per channel, and runs Class A at moderate volume, and Class A/B at high power. In other words they are HIGH-BIAS amps. With these amps it’s all about high power supply reserves, which translates into profoundly good BASS. I tested them plugged into a pair of Magnepan 1.6/QR speakers and I must confess that the depth of the bass and sound-staging really stood out. Most of all, though, was the ability of the speakers to “open up” at lower-than-normal volume settings. These amps can certainly play loud, but they give you the ability to listen at lower levels and still feel satisfied. They look beautifully made, and measure about 19 x 18 deep x 7 inches high and weigh about 50 pounds each, before boxing. I will not go into greater detail, because now you know everything I know about them other than one thing… We are setting the RESERVE at only $1488.00 for the pair to make them an irresistible bargain.
