PARASOUND JC-1 MONOBLOCKS A MATCHED PAIR AND A SINGLE!

As of the time of the listing, I have three Parasound JC-1 monoblock amplifiers for sale which comprised the amplification for the left, center and right channels for one of my home theater systems. EACH amplifier is priced for sale at $975.00. The powerful JC-1 is conservatively rated at 400 watts into 8 ohms and 800 watts into 4 ohms.

The JC-1 is a John Curl design "high bias" Class A/B amp which can output up to 25 watts of pure Class A power into 8 ohms with the use of a toggle switch on the back of the amp.

Two of the JC-1 monoblock amps will be sold as a pair because the serial numbers are only 2 digits apart (01306 and 01308) and were used for the left and right channels of my system.

The third JC-1 monoblock amp (serial number 01449) was purchased later and used for the center channel. This amp will be sold as a single UNLESS purchased along with the stereo pair.

Any person interested in purchasing all three JC-1 amps will get the best price.

I am the original owner of all three JC-1 amps which were purchased brand new from an authorized Parasound dealer in Medford, New Jersey (Avalon Audio/Video) in 2002.

I have the original double-box for each amp, along with the original manual and power cord.  I do NOT have the ridiculously short mini-jack cable that Parasound included for the 12 volt trigger on the back since I purchased after-market cables for that purpose. Rack-mount brackets are also included, still in their original wrap because I never used them.

Each amplifier has operated and performed without a SINGLE flaw or incident, not even so much as a blown fuse.  They have been bulletproof although I am known to operate all of my gear conservatively.

I have rated all three amps as a "7" due to age and some minor blemishes on the top of the amp grate which were too small for me to photograph.  There are no visible scratches on any of amps including on the face-plate and rear plate.

These amps have been Class A rated by Stereophile magazine since they were first tested, and have been the subject of many positive reviews. Specifications and features (which are very impressive) are available online.
