Greetings from Ember Audio + Video -
Since our store has closed we are selling the last of our demos, which, among a few other things includes our reference integrated amp, the Simaudio 700i (as well as a matching 650D, listed elsewhere!) which has served us faithfully for two years.
The unit in question is in extremely good condition, as evidenced in the pictures, and the price does include shipping within the continental US - so it makes thing pretty easy.
If you're looking for an integrated solution that challenges many of the best, and in many cases much more expensive separate solutions, this is it. The 700i is a dual-mono design with a conservatively-rated 175wpc into 8 ohms, and the ability to drive things like Kef's Blades with ease.
The shorter signal path presented by today's modern integrated designs - and the lowered cost resulting from utilizing only the one box, the one power supply, made them Ember A/V's choice for most systems, as modern integrated amps have begun to compete with amp/pre-amp combos many times their price, thanks to increasingly clever engineering.
The 700i was one of two amplifiers we relied on to carry the load of our flagship speakers and it was by far the more potent of the two - the other an Octave V80SE with SBB upgrade.
This unit comes with all associated packaging and is warrantied for another 8 years, so it's a safe bet to be sure, and if you're building a full system, I'd advise you consider it's matching DAC/CD player, the 650D, which is in it's own right a particularly brilliant unit, offering a well-matched sound-profile to the 700i, which presents itself as among the grippiest, most open and musical solid-state pieces around.
