This compact SIMA / Simaudio PW-3000 integrated amplifier from the mid-1980s is the predecessor of the new Simaudio Moon I-5080 / PW5000. Its very soft and a lot of power to drive medium sensitivity speakers. The phono stage works well and is switchable for MM or MC cartridges. It would cost more than $ 1000 to buy a new amplifier of this quality and sound. Superb quality of construction. Toroidal transformer, ΒΌ "faceplate and aluminum sides, top and bottom metal plates, quality RCA connectors, TO3 output transistors, etc. ... Power: 5 watts class A, 50 watts RMS / channel at 8 ohms 85 to 4 Ohms.
It is a small integrated that has the power and a super sound for a ridiculous price.

| Is there any hum - either mechanical transformer hum or line level hum? Have you inspected the capacitors inside for possible leakage? Thanks, Peter Hi there,
selling this for a friend who passed away, actually helping the family liquidate. I know that its in working order. Sorry but I wouldn't even know where to look for a capacitor leakage.
