- Considered by many to be one of the best sounding amplifiers for driving full range planars...very demanding electrostatic or ribbon speakers that require lots of current and voltage.
- Electrostatics which require high voltage output as they have capacitive loads with load impedance dropping to a fraction of an ohm at high frequencies 20 khz and beyond (SOUNDLABS, MARTIN LOGANS) or
- Ribbon speakers (APOGEES OR MAGNEPANS).....which require high current output!
- Will bring out the best these speakers have to offer!
- To my ears it has bettered even the Sanders ESL and Magtech amplifiers (which I owned briefly in my quest for the perfect amp....) for driving my SOUND LAB U-1 full range electrostatics.
