Sugden Audio Products A21SE - Modded by Stefan Audioart

Priced for a quick sale. This is an incredible-sounding Sudden A21SE that has been modded and upgraded to bring it to a truly world-class level by cable maker and component-modifier Stefan Audioart. This company is coveted for their break-through ribbon cable technology. Proprietor James Serdechny has a truly golden ear and he personally came up with and implemented these modifications.
First you will notice the massive Mapleshade Megafeet that have been screwed to the chassis. This has an audible effect on the noise floor of the amp. Then you will notice that the chunky speaker binding posts have been replaced with minimalist pure copper clips that come straight off the output boards. You can easily attach bare speaker wire as I did for optimal effect. The clips will grip spades and banana clips as well. Finally an array of Hifi-Tuning Supreme fuses as been added. This amp absolutely commands my Audionote ANEs.
There is a low hum in the left channel during warm up that completely vanishes about 10 minutes in. Unit comes in original box with remote control for the servo-loaded Alps pot. You will also receive the original feet and binding posts should you wish to use them - but you will notice an audible downgrade if you do.
A little hard to price given the mods. There are some scratches to the bottom plate from the footers but they are invisible when the footers are installed. The lowest I've ever seen an A21SE on the used market is $2K but it's next to impossible to find one in 120V. Upgrades total $1K. Buyer to pay shipping and fees. Cheers and thanks for looking.
