This is a pure Class A power amplifier made by Threshold. For you audiophiles this is best designed amplifier by Nelson Pass and his partner Rene Besne. I used it to power my Martin Login CLS-II electrostatic speakers and loved every minute I had them on. Thank you for looking.
Questions for the seller |
---|
Hi, What will you ship the amp in? Does the amp hum or make any noise? Hi Gary, I will double box the amp and protect it so that it arrives exactly as you see it. No hums it is the purest amp made. Good luck bidding. |
Hello jonron. Does this amp have "optical bias"? It should say it on the backplate. I only have a cell [filtered] and the pics aren't very clear. Thanks, Jim Jim, I carefully read the backplate and there in no mention of "optical bias"? I also read the owners manual and no mention there either. I hope that helps. |
Been checked and recapped I have not had this equipment checked or recapped. It is simply operating perfectly as it always has. |
What would shipping be to 85032? Good question Gary. I really do not know? It weighs 52 lbs. and I will be shipping it from 95746 maybe you could [filtered] FedEx and ask them for an estimate? |
I am asking for shipping cost and you don't know... also how can you [filtered] this a 9/10 when I can see marks or scuffs on the frount panle? Gary, I will stop by FedEx today and get you a shipping cost. The quality of my photos must be lacking there are no scuff marks on the front panel. |
Not pure class "A". 20% of power is class "A". Grey top, not "Optical Bias". Still a great amplifier.
Thank you Jim. Yes, it is a great amplifier. |
