I am the second owner, and the first owner did some upgrades to the unit. The upgrades were done at a reputable dealer. I no longer know the exact details of the upgrades, I only remember that the cost was $500. Sonically, I have owned a stock SFP-1, and many other phono stages under $2500, and this was my favorite. Set for the higher gain, to be used with low output MC cartridges. I paid $1150 for the unit. Selling to fund other projects, getting out of audio for awhile.
