Sony classic CD player transport CDP-X707ES RARE modified

Selling my Sony X707ES CD player.

Previous owner had it modified (he claims by APL), but I do not have any details or records of the mods.

It presently only works as a transport with digital outputs (both coaxial and optical) providing output to one of my two DACs. Most of these older Sony's are used as transports due to their fantastic stable transports but dated DACs.

Champagne finish with rosewood sides.

I have the remote control and I believe that I have box for it.

It has a few minor marks on front and a "shadow" stain on top (not sure how to describe it). Its original feet were replaced with vibra-feet. The only other item of note is that door will open and close for approx 30 - 45 seconds upon initial power when not used for a few days. Once it is warmed up, it plays flawlessly.

It is very heavy and built like tank. It weighs more than some power amps that I have owned and comes in at ~ 35+ lbs (I believe).
