Sony MDS-JA555ES MiniDisc Deck

Sony MDS-JA555ES MiniDisc (MD) recorder in excellent condition with unused remote control unit. Works 100% with no issues or problems. This Japanese domestic market model features the champagne gold finish (only available in Europe and Japan) and all display text and front panel labels are in English language. The AC power requirement is 100-volts AC but can be safely run on 117-volt AC US voltage but it is best to use a 117-100 volt step down transformer that you can find on eBay. Has a few small scratches - one in center of top cover, one on right rear corner and a small ding and scratches on left rear corner area (see pictures). Features: ATRAC Type R DSP, 24-bit Sigma Delta ADC, 24-bit Current Pulse DAC with 128x oversampling, coaxial and optical digital inputs and outputs, selectable output bit density (16, 20, 24-bit), twin R-core power transformers.
