I can only see one major scratch on the cover over the cd loading deck. Absolutely perfect operating condition , never used very much by me or previous owner.

I am a Mechanical Engineer and am giving it a 7 out of 10 because if you look very close, under a bright light, you can see some minor marks. A bit of a 'light hazy scratches' in a few areas but not visible unless under bright light. I don't consider them major since they don't show up under normal viewing conditions or in a photo. I am using a Nikon D5000 with great Nikkor optics so great photos.

As far as I am concerned , unit looks great for this age. Unit was never mishandled nor abused in any way. Front of unit is perfect.

I have tested it extensively this week and perfect. One of the finest SACD and CD players on the planet. Amazing CD Transport if that is what you want.

I don't have children or pets, and no smokers, so it was in a perfect operating environment. Unit will be double boxed for shipping to guarantee no damage.

Essentially the same as SCD-1 Sony's flagship SACD player except there is a different power supply. Price includes excellent packaging and shipping within USA and Canada.
