Linn Kandid Moving Coil cartridge

Superb, high end low output phono cartridge from Linn, their top of the line model.  This cartridge uses a 3 point (3 screw) mount which is absolutely perfect for fixing it onto a Linn Ekos or Ekos SE or Akito tonearms, but also works great on older Linn arms (like the Ittok) as well  as most high quality light to medium mass tonearms.  It is low output (.4mv) so requires a phono preamp with enough gain, typically in the range of 57 to 64 db of gain.  Has a nude microridge stylus and a boron cantilever in a fairly lightweight (5.7g) body.  Everything about it screams high performance!  It is a true top of the line cartridge worthy of almost any high end system, regardless of price!   Note from the pics that the stylus is straight and true and has about 500-600 hours of use, which is verified by a stylus microscope inspection at the local Linn dealer.  These diamonds are good for about 2000 or more hours before needing replacement, so about 1400 hours or more listening pleasure left on it!   Buy it now for less than half retail price!
