Audioquest Volcano speaker cables

This is an 8 foot pair of original Audioquest Volcano speaker cables. The Volcanos are members of the "Earth Series" of AQ speaker cables. These cables predate the AQ dbs system.  All of the copper conductors are PSC+ employing Audioquest's spread spectrum technology meaning that there are various gauge conductors included in each run of cable to maximize reproduction of low to high frequencies.
These cables have been used exclusively in a child free, pet free dedicated non-smoking listening room.  From clamping and re-clamping the silver spades, there is some wear there.  Also the red electrical tape close to the amp end spade of one cable has a small cut into it but the copper inside is not oxidized and is fully intact. In the attached pics, you'll notice brass clamps that I added to reduce resonances/vibration within the cable. (they are screwed on and easy to remove).  Lastly, I added a gray elastic wrap at the speaker ends to damp resonance.  I wrapped my subwoofer cables the full length with this stretchy tape.  Again, if you don't like it you can remove it.  This pair of cables was purchased by me from The Cable Company.
I used these cables to biwire several models of Vandersteen speakers over the years.  The AQ Caldera, also an "Earth Series" cable was used for the bass and the Volcanos for the mid/treble.  The 8 foot pair of Calderas are also listed for sale.
My only reason for ceasing to use these cables was the purchase of new speakers which mated better with silver conductor cables.
I am listing these at a rock bottom price.  I just want someone to be using/enjoying them in their system as I did for many years.  The price here is solid and includes shipping to the 48 contiguous states
