Cardas Audio Golden Reference Speaker Cables 3M New Spades

A 3M pair of Cardas Audio Golden Reference Speaker cables. The cables were sent back to Cardas for completely new re-termination of 1/4" (6mm) pure copper, rhodium/silver plated spades last year. I have never taken them out of the box until now just to take photos. They have never been used since.

Rated 8/10 because they were used and have some minor usage surface marks on the cable bodies. One of the cable has a couple of minor surface scratches and nicks. This is just for disclosure purpose, even new ones have marks because of the nature of the rubber/PVC jacket. The cables were completely tested by Cardas, they are "Perfectly matched and pass all electrical test" as stated by Cardas. Comes with Certificate of Authenticity and will ship in original shipping box as pictured.

I have been keeping them for years and was willing to get new termination because I simply prefer them over the new Clear line of cables. They have always been my reference. The better your equipment, the more you will appreciate why these were the top of the line Cardas speaker cables for many many years, despite the relatively moderate price. Only reason for selling is because I already have a shorter pair for my Monoblock setup.

DO NOT confuse their sound with the Golden Reference interconnect cables, which are relatively warm and bloated. This is also true for the Golden Cross Speaker cables vs. Interconnect cables BTW.
