Live Wire Litz OFC Speaker Cables - 3M pair w/Bananas

Not to be confused with the pro audio "Livewire" brand, this manufacturer was state of the art in the late 80's and 90's.  

This 3 meter pair of speaker wires consisits of a 9 gage equivient Litz wire. Litz wire is a type of cable used in electronics to carry current. The wire is designed to reduce the skin effect and proximity effect losses in conductors used at frequencies up to about 1 MHz.
Litz wire is actually stranded film insulated conductors, or stranded magnet wire which are cabled into a geometric pattern permitting each insulated wire to occupy every possible position in the entire length of the flexible cable at some point.

The process required to prepare Litz wire is expensive and tedious. All ends are "tined" and include removable gold plated banana connectors.
