Rare pair of JBL Lancer L44 full range 8" loudspeakers, early 1960's.
Purchased from the original owner, this pair is in exceptional condition for it's age.
The L44 uses, the "full range" alnico LE8T 8" driver and an 8" passive radiator to augment the bass.
Drivers are in incredible condition. Cabinets are in beautiful shape with only a few scratches and marks, very nice shine.
The sound is great! Incredibly clear and lifelike with good bass.
These measure right around 8 ohms DCR which means they should do well on either an 8 or 16 ohm tap.
Work well with small to large tube amps in my opinion. very good efficiency and easy load.
