Spendor S6 Spendor magic - great price

For sale is a pair of Spendor S6 speakers in stunning cherry. These are in excellent condition cosmetically. Please note before you e-mail me - these are not the S6e series speakers but the previous model. The primary difference between the S6 and the S6e is that the S6 is front ported - which means they can be placed close to a front wall.

I was using the S6 in an office system, but no longer have the luxury of room for an actual system. (I will post ads shortly for the remaining parts of this system.) The S6 are easy to drive, even with low powered tubes. I was using a Radford STA-25 amplifier and the sound was glorious.

Pics were just taken in natural light, and give a fair representation of actual condition. They are in excellent condition without any dings or scratches. 8/10 rating to be conservative. These slim and elegant floorstanders will fit just about anywhere and never dominate your space. Front porting allows placement near walls, and in tight places.

This is the model just before the highly acclaimed, S6e. Size and specs for S6 are virtually identical to S6e. Several models in the "e" lineup are Stereophile Class B, and are described as:

These come with: manual, grill covers, spikes, and the original boxes. I live in Manhattan so a local pick up would be desirable.
