Custom/Special Order Steel and Marble 3-Shelf Equipment Rack

This is a custom-made, VERY heavy and rigid 3-shelf audio equipment rack made for Mike Hobson of Classic Records some years ago. It features a thick-wall tubular square-section steel frame that is fully welded, sanded, and painted. The three shelves are each solid polished granite; each shelf is 64" x 20" x 2" thick. The entire stand sits 48" high. I am not sure of the total weight, but it is one heavy mother. This rack needs to be sold to someone locally (It is in Hollywood, CA) to someone who can come with a truck and some help, as it is not an easy thing to handle. The good news is that it is in superb condition and is a really great rack for someone who needs a bit more room for equipment than may be the norm. It was replaced about 5 years ago with a maple rack of similar size from Kuzma, the same company that makes the turntables and arms in Slovenia. After being carefully stored in one of my company's offices since then, the decision was made to offer it for sale, as we need the room it is taking up. There are no instructions, etc, as it is very self-evident how it goes together or comes apart. I am offering this rack at the bottom-dollar price of $500. Please do not send me any low-ball offers. It is a steal at $500. You can see in the pictures that it is a handsome stand. It is in almost pristine condition with no chunks missing, no scratches, etc. I am giving it an 8 rating to be conservative. A lovely, albeit heavy, rack.
