For sale I have a pair of Skylan speaker stands that were only used for a few months. The assembled stand in the photos has some sawdust (stored in my wood shop for a few years while not being used) which will be cleaned off when packed for shipping. With spikes the stands are 20 1/2 inches tall on carpet and are 20" tall without spikes attached. Top plate is 12" X 8 3/8". Bottom plate is: 14" X 11 1/2". Superb stands which, I feel, better the solid steel competition.
These stands each have 4 hollow PVC columns that are very strong and are intended to be filled with sand or other loading material. Threaded bolts attach the top and bottom plates firmly together. The top plate has holes in which you pour your filler material of choice. I have enclosed several pictures so you can see what is included and how the stands are constructed. These are extremely strong and stable stands. I would rate these a very conservative 7/10.
The stands will be cleaned and very carefully shipped by either USPS Priority or UPS Ground with insurance.
