• This sale is for a pair of used Symposium Ultra Medium Platforms
  
  


• Nominal size 19 x 18; this is designated as the “medium size” and the list price for new platforms at reputable dealers such as Acoustic Sounds and The Cable Company is $1598 for a pair
  
  


• Each platform measures exactly 18.75” x 17.75” x 3.50”
  
  


• Couplers are not included with this used pair
  
  


• Photos show actual condition of each platform’s top and bottom
  
  


• There are minor cosmetic scratches which would be mostly covered by your equipment when you set them up. Also some of the middle vinyl banding has peeled off- this is particularly evident and well shown in the photo with the dog (left hand side platform)
  
  


• Functionally these perform perfectly – they are not bent, deformed and are dead flat but cosmetically they are in average used condition
  
  

Sold as a Set:

• While I realize that you may only need one platform.  However, as it took me over an hour to safely pack these two platforms into one box, I will not split them up for separate sales.   A pair is ideal for using them under two mono amps or a pair of speakers.  It is also a great price—if you only want one you can always re-sell the extra.
  
  


• Furthermore, since I listed this as a set, Audiogon requires that I sell them as a single set

• The pictures that you see are of the actual item that is for bid or sale.  I take my pictures to accurately show exact condition and any potential flaws.  While my verbal descriptions are done with precision, I believe the pictures give the best way for a buyer to judge the condition for themselves.  Please feel free to ask me any questions on what you see as what you see is what you get!
  
  

Shipping:

• Shipping these UPS Ground and all PayPal Fees are included in the asking price which is firm.  The only discount that I will consider is a $100 discount to a buyer that is willing to pick them up in person from me and pay cash.  I live in a doorman building on 96th St and CPW in Manhattan which is very close to the subway.
  
  


• Both of these platforms are packed together in a well taped (super strong strapping tape) heavy duty box with expert internal shipping protection.  I will provide the tracking number to you upon shipment.
  
  


• The manufacturer’s box is not included as it was thrown out a long time ago.
  
  

Returns:

• I don’t offer returns because I describe my items very well and am not in business with my Audiogon sales.  I am merely selling items that I don’t need any more for a variety of reasons usually the scarcity of space in my Manhattan apartment.

The following is noted for the purpose of “full disclosure”:

• From smoke free, clean home but dog friendly.  A few dog hairs in my packing are likely.  I shot one photo of both platforms with my dog.  Only the platforms are for sale; the dog stays with me.
