Firstly, apologies for the lack of photos. I am currently living in the UK, but these two M&K MX-150 subwoofers are in their original boxes and are currently located in North Hollywood, CA. They are being looked after by a trusted friend of mine for viewing/sale.
The photos included here show the two MX-150s, as they sat in my home theater, also in North Hollywood, before I moved house. Cosmetically and physically, the units are in very good condition, but please note that there is a very slight amount of equally-spread fading of the original black paint on the top sides of both units - a common problem with that generation of sub. M&K recommends in the manual that the units can be repainted, but I suspect this is of little concern to those with dedicated AV rooms.
I had no intention of selling these subs. They perform superbly, but unfortunately they do not have a capability for voltage change to 220v from 110v, otherwise I would have shipped them to London.
If you wire both the M&Ks as a single mono output in a 5.1, 7.1 or 7.1.4 configuration, you will achieve monstrously powerful bass response from movie soundtracks in standard rooms, as standing waves are mitigated by the use of two identical subs. Audiophiles will likewise enjoy the surprising finesse of these subs on all music sources.
Both units are in their original double boxes, as delivered by M&K. Inside the boxes are the original manuals and all paperwork in sealed plastic document holders. Although M&K no longer exists as a US-based company, you can still get questions answered (and presumably parts, if needed) from MK Sound. Furthermore, Kreisel Sound and its distributors are usually more than happy to help with questions on legacy products like this.
Please feel free to ask me any questions. Although the units will be handled by my friend 'Mark' in North Hollywood, I should always be the point of contact with regards to all communication.
