The controller feeds the sub via a 20 foot extension cable, and allows plenty of control over the signal, including high pass, low pass, infinite phase, volume, and video contour (or flat). The backside allows you to select mono or stereo (if you add a second sub), as well as a gain switch. But you need not tweak this thing for days to get it to sound right. With no other sub could I say that, but I’ve decided to sell as I now have full range speakers, and need to thin the collection.
