REL Strata II Sub-woofer:

REL Strata II 10" Down Firing Home Theater Sub-woofer. Comes with a interface to hook up the sub directly to a amplifier using a XLR connection.

This is a powered design and the speaker leads sense voltage but and little or no affect on the power of the amplifier and I HIGHLY recommend this and REL (were a REL dealer) for a best sounding and cost effective way to create missing BASS for two channel Stereo Systems or Theater systems.
