For your consideration, the exceptional REL T-9 subwoofer in piano black.  I purchased the T-9 last year and it is in excellent condition.  This is a remarkable sub.  It adds dimension, presence, and dynamics to my large Revel Performa3 F208's.  Without the sub, my F208's, although sounding very good on their own, tend to deflate.  It's pretty amazing what this sub adds to the overall presentation.

Unlike many other subs of its size, the T-9 did not falter, waver or make gross noises at any time.
