My SPL-1000 ll is as near perfect as any you will see anywhere. I take great care of all my equipment. This woofer was in secondary HT in the lower level of my home. So the system was not played very much. I don't have children and have never really exercised it much. This incredibly compact 10" amplifier has a Kevlar reinforced resin cone and delivers 2000 dynamic watts for an ultra-dramatic sound. Velodyne's exclusive Dynamic Driver Control System assures limited distortion for very clean, tight and accurate bass while its patented Energy Recovery System lets it handle gigantic power.
