This amp, as you know, is very rare. Reflecting its Class-A operation, it is a great sounding amplifier. The Gold's design was Jim Bongiorno's unique approach to Class-A biasing that insures absolute stability and incredible low level detail resolution. It was his all-out approach to amplifier design following leaving the Great American Sound Company (GAS) and everything about the amp from the specially-designed output transistors through the in-house built power transformer reflect his experience and uncompromising execution. A true classic! The Amplifier has had a complete restoration rebuild from Gasaudio.net, returning it to like new condition with a 1 yr warranty on the work performed; there will be a receipt reflecting that this is included. Because of the rebuild, you can expect to hear the amp as the designer intended with the effects of age removed, and can expect many many years of quality listening with it. --Overall the amp is in great condition, just a few minor scratches and minor shipping damage to the lower left corner of the faceplate (visible in the picture). I classified it physically as a 7/10 on its condition because of its age. You will be pleased with this amp sonically and cosmetically.
