this superb reel to reel "portable" master recorder have sonics close to my Studer A80s thxs to HX PRO audiocards and state of the art transport
the HX-PRO is active biasing/eq used only during recording to reduce tape hiss in low level periods. it delivers about 5db better S/N and does not require decoding in playback
