Here's the fabled Revox B-215 Special Edition with an original price tag of $3,000 back in the 90's. This is one of the best cassette deck ever made and no questions about it. I have a big cassette deck collection but I have get to the point in my life where I have t reduce the herd and I'm mostly keeping the Nakamichis. All TEAC "Z" Series are gone, NAD, Tandberg and others has gone too.
Since I have the hard to find companion Revox Integrated Special Edition as well as the B-226 CD Player Signature, I tried to keep the whole trio intact but I no longer have use for this magnificent deck. This one was modified with the McIntosh LCD display, replacing the hard to see original fade green one. It's a real pain in the butt to change as it has 104 soldering points you have to deal with, but it was professionally done by one of the best Revox tech in this part of the hemisphere: Perry Esposito.
Here's an excerpt of the service performed back in 07/6/2015:

Those GD fluorescent displays are a royal pain in the ass to
work on.  Desolder 104 pins, replace the
display, then line up 104 pins and resolder them. I alos noticed the transport
ICs had been running very hot.  The green
PCBs had turned black behind the ICs.
The solder looked like it had cold joints, and some solder creep, so I
resoldered all those as well.  The
measured temperature dropped about 20F, but they are still pretty warm.  Anyway, thank God it's all done.  Came out excellent.  Attached are captures of the W&F at
beginning and end of tape.  As you can
see, W&F is near identical, and the tape is only 3Hz slower from the
beginning, which is superb.

Also attached are FR plots using Sony SR Type IV, Sony UX
Pro Type II, and TDK D.  Virtually the
same results with Maxell or other tapes at well, autocal doesn't skip a beat
now.

Work performed:

New pressure rollers installed, brass hubs.

New Fluorescent illumination display

Full replacement of all electrolytic and tantalum
capacitors.

Replace 2 cmos IC switch chips.

Full degrease/clean, relube of transport.

Reset flywheel balance on shafts.

Set pressure roller arm tensions.

Resolder DD transport ICs. Solder joints suspect for higher
temperature.

Align play/record heads for head height, tilt, and
azimuth.

Set stroke.

Electronic setting/calibration of autocal circuit for each
tape type, per manual.

Set end of tape intensity.

Calibrate meters and play levels per manual

The wood side panels are not intact and has some blemishes and that's why I'm asking this ridiculous low price for such a machine. I priced my components to sell and that's why the asking price is firm. You also have to pay the shipping as I always do every time I buy something from the USA. I'll charge $85.00 for USPS Priority Mail + Insurance for $800.00 as a flat fee. If it's more, that it's possible so, I'll cover it.

No manual, original box or remote included. The Manual can be download for free.

Since this machine is over 25 years old and it's an electronic component, all sales are final, no devolution and no further discounts available once you receive it. Clear?

Thank you!
