Teac X-2000R Reel-to-Reel Tape Deck with Extras

For sale is a TEAC X-2000R
reel-to-reel deck (black) in excellent working condition. It was
serviced in February 2015 (driver circuit replaced,
belt replaced, lubricated, adjusted and calibrated according to
manufacturer's specs; shafts, switches, controls, connectors cleaned) by
Save on Sound here in Houston and has not been used since then.

Detailed service receipt is available upon request.and
has not been used since then. The deck has been well taken care of. It
comes with:

• Original Owner's Manual,


• Maintenance Manual,



• Original TEAC hub adapters,




• TEAC RE-1003B black take-up reel (10-in) in a storage box, and




• TEAC RE-702 plastic take-up reel (7-in) in original box.

i'm also including a TDK SA-35/180M (EE Type) tape on an original 10-in TDK
metal reel (with original box) in the package to get you started. The
tape has some recording on it that can be erased, of course.

All functions work perfectly. All lights work, except for the DBX light
(that does not affect the DBX function in any way though). The heads and
the tape path have minimal wear.

The unit looks great throughout.
The bottom base has some minor scratches that are invisible when the
deck is in its normal standing position (see photos).

The unit is double-boxed and ready to go. It is well packed to ensure safe travel to your home. Local pick-up is also welcome.

Due to the nature of vintage electronics, this deck is SOLD AS IS with NO
RETURNS ACCEPTED.
