Telarc Omnidisc 2-LP Demo Test Discs For Tone Arm/ Cartridge Set-Up DG-10073/74 (Near Mint)

I'm selling a near mint boxed two-lp set of Telarc's magnificent OMNIDISC Demo and Test discs. Originally, I bought this item brand new from the local record store with the intention of setting up my tone arm & cartridge on my turntable by myself .However, since my audio dealer had already done that job for me, I only played band 3 (Tchaikovsky: 1812 Overture) and band 5 (Stravinsky: The Rite of Spring) on side 3 once just to test out their tracking abilities.They both passed with flying colors ,especially with the cannon shots from the Tchaikovsky: 1812.The other 3 sides have never been used. A comprehensive 12-page instruction booklet is included in the box with the discs. This is a "must-have" box for setting up an analog playback system. The boxed set consists of four discs containing a variety of tests and demonstration performances: Side 1: Tone Arm/Cartridge mechanical alignment disc: Tone arms - pivoted and tangential, turntable and tone arm leveling, determining the L dimension, cartridge alignment, tracking and antiskating force Side 2: Test Signals: including signals for sonic verification of Proper turntable, tone arm, and cartridge alignment and operation. Complete system wiring and phasing, speaker placement, room acoustics and equalization. Side 3: Tracking Tests: excerpts from five telarc records, each excerpt repeated four times at a level 2 decibels higher than the last Side 4: Imaging and Music In addition, Sides 2, 3, & 4 have stroboscopic bands for use in determining turntable speed accuracy. The test signals and music selections were digitally recorded, edited,& mastered by Soundstream, Inc. This set is very sought after and very rare in this condition. It's extremely well kept because I'm the sole owner.
