Townshend Audio Maximum Ribbon Supertweeters

Pair of Townshend Audio Maximum supertweeters for sale. These amazing little gems perform just as advertised, enhancing not only the high end but the entire audio spectrum. I don’t know how they work, but they do.

I’ve used these in my system since I purchased them new about a year ago. They’ve been wonderful. I am selling only because of my accursed love of flea-powered SET amps – these supertweeters just don’t do that great with less than 8W of power behind them.

They’re in like new condition with only one issue to note: the original 1.5M cables are not a matched pair. I ordered spade connectors but received one cable with spades, one with bananas. I have graded them 8/10 for this reason only. Since it didn’t matter in my application, I just lived with them that way. I’ll provide photos if necessary, but they look just like the stock photos you’ll find if you search.

Asking $795 for these. Original retail is over $1500 from Europe.

I have the original box and packaging materials, and will double-box for shipment. I’ve sold and shipped lots of audio equipment over the years and have never had a shipping casualty.
