McIntosh MC-2KW Mono Block Amplifer Pair. MINT Condition- Like Brand New. Trying to help a friend who has to move due to death in family, sell these magnificent amplifiers. He’s had them in storage in their boxes for two years. Have six boxes - three per channel. Serial #’s: XV-150 A,B,C & XV -151 A,B,C. Very fair asking price! Buyer to pay shipping & insurance. Insurance is $1 per $100. Total weight is 452 lbs per 3 boxes; so 904 lbs shipping total. Figure $1500 for shipping & insurance. Do you need a separate 15A line circuit for each mono Block ? Or can one line handle both ? Thank you Hi,
First,because it’s two power modules per side I would do two 15 Amp circuits per side for four total. You might be able to get away with one 20 A circuit per side (2 modules on each circuit). You are still going to need at least one more circuit to handle the output / meter unit. Hope that helps. I think your electrician can help you figure it out! You have to consider the rest of your gear too!
