Audio Research (ARC) LS-26 Black Tube Pre-Amp Low Hours!

This listing, is for my venerable and excellent...LS-26 pre-amp.

Not
much to say here. I've tried a LOT of gear in my years.
Tube/SS...Class-A to Class-D; BIG power, small power...IAs/SEPs. To me,
ARC is easily among the best...until you get into some kind of
ridiculous stratosphere price-wise.

I was worried...about going to the 6H30 "super-tube": too
linear, not enough rolling options, etc.. I was going to try and find a
25 mkI instead. NO regrets! Yes...ARC is more linear, than say
Conrad-Johnson...just by their nature; but I did not find the 6H30, to be unpleasant in any way...against say, designs using 6922s. And I, don't really like my tubes...too "gooey" anyway; so to me...ARC represents like the perfect best-of-both-worlds balance.

I'm the 2nd owner...but I only buy stuff, in great shape; and it's in the same
great shape when it leaves. So...this is an 8/10, that looks and
performs like a 9/10; but...last gen, 2nd owner...and I don't over-rate,
like some guys.

781 hours on the tubes (I'll try to check with the original owner; see if that represents total
play time); have the OEM box, remote, PC, manual, etc. Any other

I might have some more pix, of the actual
unit...already taken; but c'mon guys. You don't know what this is; don't
get, how Google works...lol But...let
me know, if there's anything I can do; to put your mind at ease, for a
comfortable sale (perfect, regular, and long-standing feedback at
AudiogoN).

Price, do NOT include S&H...nor PayPal fees (if we have, to use the
3% option). I also have a "matching" VT-50. This ad is for the pre-amp separately; but
honestly...they mate sooo well, I'd love to see someone take both (and
I'll knock something off, for the "package"). Thanks
