For sale Cary CAD-50 mono tube power amps,in near mint working condition,Very clean chassis's these are the original CAD-50 not MKII's, 50 watt output, Russian version EL-34 output tubes,US version 12BH7 and 12AX7 input tubes,features easy to use bias setup,front panel meter and switch to select output tube bias and Class "A" operation switch,control on rear panel for individual output tube bias,also feedback switch,includes Edison Binding post. Very nice sounding classic 90's Cary tube amps,very low hours of use,have been in storage for some time.

| Can these amps run any other power tubes outside of EL34s? I'm assuming they could also use 6CA7 or KT77. Hello Dana, The 6CA7 and KT77 are basiclly the same as EL34,they all work in the CAD-50's. They are very nice amps I had very little use and need a good home. Thanx Robert |
| I didn't phrase my last question well. I was wondering if it could use any tubes outside of the EL34 family? I know the Mk2 version of this amp used 6550 tubes. I think so but the bias circuit would have to be modified to accommodate
