This amp is the SE Model which has all CJD Teflon Caps and Vischay Resistors. It has the KT120 vs the EL34's in the standard model. It is well made and well engineered but let's face it you buy it for the music.
This is one of the best amplifier that CJ has ever produced at reasonable price. Jazz music comes alive and so are vocals. Its holographic imaging are excellent and female vocals are natural and comes through with emotions. I listened to Michael Buble and Sade and this pre amp makes it sounds like you are there in front of the artist.
This is a flexible amplifier that can also matched with different brand and solid state pre amplifiers.
