Conrad Johnson's Class Sixty stereo tube amplifer, is a 60-watt amplifier, half of the dynamic duo when teamed with the ET-3 preamp, the entry-level standouts in CJ's top-level electronics. This amps is newly re-tubed with CJs 6922 and EL34s. The 'Sixty' has that classic CJ liquid midrange sound, which allow orchestras, bands or singers to put across exactly how they sang the song with any interference from the amp. What you hear is what was there. A solid bass (does great on standup bass, bass guitar and double bass) and excellent, sweet treble (chimes waft through the air!) complete the picture, which includes a large, highly transparent soundstage with focused images.
