Conrad Johnson Premier 140 amp Brand new tubes & boxes

For sale is one of Conrad Johnson's best efforts in amplification, the Premier 140.

First, the bad news: there are several scrapes to the rear of the unit (understandable, if one attempt to lug this brute around) and a slight chip to the upper part of the insulator jacket of the left binding post.  For these simple reasons I've rated the condition a very severe 6 but it is easily a 7.

Now for the good news: the amp performs flawlessly, holds rock-solid bias and plays with authority.  As the photo of the receipt shows, I recently purchased an octet of CJ-spec'd Tung Sold 6550 re-issues.  Since then I've put no more than 6 hours on the tubes.  Finally, since I purchased this locally without a box, I purchased a brand new (still sealed) shipping box and packing material from C-J for $160.

The amp is being sold with the armor-plated cage (I never use it), heavy-duty power chord, new output AND signal tubes.
