Custom 8CG7 Preamplifier 8CG7 Preamp

This preamp was built for a client about 5 years ago. It was returned to me for upgrades, but the client decided he did not want to pursue them due to the proposed cost to do so. I purchased the preamp back from him because I did not have one at the time. I no longer have a need for it, however did install an Alps Blue potentiometer when I acquired it back from him to improve the tracking and imaging.

This preamp features a solid Mahogany faceplate and Curly Maple side panels.

Standby switch to be able to warm, up your tubes before hitting the B+.

Three inputs and dual outputs for running bi-amp or subwoofers.

Gold plated RCA connectors.

Low Z output due to cathode follower output. Will drive exceptionally long cables if needed.

I have been out of the game for a while, so I am no longer all that great at marketing my gear, but this is one nice sounding preamplifier.

Please, no lowball offers. I am not desperate to unload this piece. I would just like to see it go to a good home.

8/10 due to the fact that it is DIY, but it is a beautiful piece of gear.
