Dared MC-7P with phono + extra tubes+ pure silver interconnects

Lightly used Dared MC-7P preamp with upgraded tubes throughout. Silent and wonderful sounding preamp with three line stage inputs and an outstanding MM phono section. Upgraded tubes include NOS USA 6v6, Russian 5U4G, NOS Sylvania JAN 12AT7, NOS RCA 12AX7 and 2 brand new Tungsol reissue 12AX7 for phono section.

Additional tubes included with the sale is the original 5U4G, 1-Electro-Harmonix 12AT7, 1-NOS RCA 12AX7, and 1-brand new Russian equivalent 6V6 tube.

I will also include a pair of NOS Sylvania USA made 12au7 tubes which may be substituted for the Tungsol 12AX7 used in the phono section if you prefer a lower gain sweet sounding tube in the phono section. 

In addition to the cheepo rca interconnects that came with the preamp you will also receive a custom 1 meter pair of  pure silver signal rca cables to get you connected. 

This Class-A preamplifier offers incredible value for the money. It is one of the few tube preamps with a BUILT-IN phono stage. If you’re part of the vinyl resurgence, you will appreciate the shorter signal path that a built-in phono stage offers over an external phono stage.

Specifications:

Four of the tubes (everything that is not part of the power supply) are protected by 18k gold plated tube shields to minimize interference. These help keep the preamp extremely quiet.

The box behind the tubes houses two large power transformers – one for high DC voltage and one for the lower voltage tube heaters. This configuration is another high quality design element that helps keep this pre-amp quiet.

** The preamplifier comes with a wooden remote control for volume adjustment. There are some swirl marks on the top chrome portion of the preamp therefore, the 7 rating.

The piece is otherwise in great condition and will display beautifully in your system.
