Line Magnetic LM-218IA - mint condition, with extra tubes

Up for sale here is a Line Magnetic LM-218IA integrated amplifier, utilizing the legendary 845 power triode - in this instance, the Shuguang 845B, based on the Amperex model from the 40's. This thing creates air, space and bass like no other SET can - really quite amazing, when it comes down to it. It's built like a tank, with all point-to-point wiring; and weighing in at close to 90 lbs, the transformers are as hearty as they come. The hammer-tone finish is the icing on the cake - just lovely.

The one negative detail (hence the 8/10) is that the bias pot for the left 845 needs to be tended to, as it turns infinitely in both directions. The up side, however, is that it's set on the lower end of things, so I just matched the right one up and, well, the amp runs just a tad cooler than it would otherwise - and quite frankly, that's a good thing.

So, why am I selling this wonderful item? I need the money - that's all there is to it.

I have the original box and packaging, as well as the tube cage and owner's manual, so it will arrive unscathed, as it did to me roughly a year ago. I also have the original remote control (also built like a tank, in solid aluminum). Google the company and take a look at their product line; these guys are ridiculously passionate about historical audio, namely RCA - their exotic products are just staggering.
