Stainless Steel Chassis McIntosh MC1000 amplifiers.The black chassis amplifiers seem to be more prevalent and I have not seen any other stainless steel ones. I do not know how long McIntosh made this version of the MC1000 but the stailess steel is kind of a throw back to their vintage tube amps which had chrome chassis.So if you are looking to Bi-Amp or Tri-Amp your speakers with these fantastic amplifiers I also have another two consecutive number pairs left. So there are enough of them to supply your need for Bi-Amping or Tri-Amping. The amplifiers sound fantastic to say the least.
