I am selling my Cary SLP-05 pre - amplifier. it's about six month old
with 200-300 hours of use at my office since re-tubed with new NOS
tubes. I paid more than $1,500.00 in tubes and fuses upgrades matching
and voicing my Focal Sopras No 3. It was replaced by my new Octave HP700
and it sounds equally good with the addition of tone controls in the
Octave.
It will ship with the upgrades per below:
- Positions 1,2,4,5: Russian MELZ, Hole Plate 1578 NOS, Metal Base
- Positions 3,6: Sylvania 6SN7W, Tall Bottle, Plastic Base NOS
- Positions 7,8: Sylvania 6SN7 GTA, Sort Bottle, Plastic Base NOS
- Power Supply Rectifier Tube: Mullard 5AR4, Plastic Fat Base f31 B8l
- Power Supply Fuses: Two (2) 1 amp Hifi tuning Supreme fuses
All tubes are labeled with their corresponding positions in the Cary SLP-05.
