Audio Experience Balanced A2 - Plus

For sale a 1 year old Audio Experience A2 Plus preamp (Y-S Audio). This is a preamp punches way above its price point. This preamp best other preamps that cost several times more. This preamp bested my previous Modwright 9.0se with a upgraded rectifier stage which cost $3000. The only reason I'm selling this is I picked up a deHavilland UltraVerve 3 which also punches way above it's price point and is another giant killer.

The unit is in excellent condition. This version has the SoniCaps, Generation 1.
The preamp includes two 12AU7 Raytheon Platium Grade D Getters 1957. Also two GE 5814 3 Mica Black Plate along with four Vintage GE 5814 Black Plates D-Getter Stereo Tubes 1953. Two Tung Sol 5687 D Getters. The secret to even better performance from this preamp is to replace the 5687 tubes with a pair of Amperex 7119 tubes. This really changes the performance level sonically. I have a pair of NOS Amperex for sale for an extra $50, and normally these tubes are at least $100 to $120 a pair.

My asking price of $800, I will include all the tubes listed accept for the Amperex ($50 they bring the preamp to a higher level), PayPal fees and shipping to the lower 48 states. The tubes included alone are over $200.

I have the box and the remote. The remote controls volume, input selection, and mute.
