| Hi. Did Upscale say it is ok to use the 5R4 instead of the 5U4? I thought they have vastly different values and the manual does not list it as an approved substitute. Yes - in fact they highly recommended the tube as a good replacement. I found it to be a subtle improvement. The original tubes are included. The only issue is that the tube cage will not fit with the Phillips tubes installed - as Upscale noted at the time. |
