99 Super Magnum in excellent condition. Came back from Rogue Audio a few months ago where Nick played it for a week and declared it in perfect condition and put new tubes. Sent it there thinking something was wrong but the guys could not find anything wrong and it turned out that aTP link power line Ethernet plugged in my music room was sending noise to the system. Costly wrong diagnosis but it was good to have Rogue work on it and give it a clean bill of health. They replaced a few parts that were not damaged but they went ahead to ensure its good for the long run. The check up at the factory is now your gain. Previous set of tubes still sound great and I am including them This unit is rated very conservatively. If you are Rogue owner, you know how great the guys are with any questions and support. Guranteed you will love this pre and will give you many years of musical joy. Boxing it in a few days and will add more pictures then.

| How does the record function work? Is it just a line output from whatever input you have it set to? Is the record button just an on off switch for that output? I’m looking to add the home theater bypass function to this if I purchase it. I actually added a ht bypass switch to my Rogue Metis which worked beautifully and I am wondering if I could do the same to the 99. HI John,
It’s been a long time since I played with the record button. My non definitive answer is that I think it gives you a fixed output of what is being input, not affected by the volume you are listening to. I know that the guys at Rogue can add a bypass switch . At least I have seen them do it before. I would give them a [filtered] to corroborate both. Nick is particularly knowledgeable and helpful but they are all great. Their number is [filtered].
